My Pepeha!

Today we started our Pepeha's for our "Water colour art/Waka's" On the Waka's there was a speech bubble, that's where we put our Pepeha's! We did it on a slide, this is what it looked like at first,
Then we learnt how to put these- ō and stuff like that on our letters, we pressed the insert button,
and then looked down and pushed Special Characters but we had to make sure we pressed the text box then did it,
when it loaded this came up,
so we put "macron" in search results and these came up,
so we were able to press the letters! We were able to finish our Pepeha's and put in some pictures and this was my finished product!

  1. Kia ora Kaya,
Well done on creating such an informative blog post about how you created your pepeha!
I really like the way you have included screenshots of your work so we are able to follow along, and I really appreciate the step-by-step process of how to include macron’s into text. This was very descriptive, easy to follow, and will be extremely helpful for the next time I need to include macron’s into my writing!
It is great to hear how you are starting to create your watercolor art/waka’s. This sounds like an exciting project to be working on, and I look forward to seeing your final result!
Your pepeha is fantastic, and it was awesome to be able to learn a little bit more about you.
You mentioned how you were born in Greymouth and currently live in Hokitika.
Have you lived on the West Coast for your whole life?
What are your favourite parts of the West Coast and why?
You also mentioned how your mountain is Aoraki, or Mount Cook.
Have you ever been to visit this mountain?
    Keep up the fantastic blogging!
    Nga mihi

    1. Kia Ora Keiryn! I am happy that me talking about how we got the macrons helped you! My Waka Art/Water-Colour is almost done! All I need to do is put my Pepeha on and it's done. Yes, I have lived in the West Coast my whole life, but I do travel to Denmark and Australia to visit my family members! I cant remember all the places I've been in the West Coast, but I love going to Queenstown, Christchurch, Greymouth, and the places we go to ski! I love going to Queenstown because it has places to ski and its a bunch or fun doing stuff there other than Skiing, I love going to Christchurch because It's super fun up there and we always go to the mall and that means I get something new to play with and get to eat such amazing food! And its very beautiful there as well, I love going to Greymouth because we get to see the beautiful mountains and we go to the Warehouse! And I don't actually remember if I've been to that mountain but its special to my whole family and its very beautiful! Bye Kieryn!

    2. Kia ora Kaya,
Thank you for replying to my comment and answering all of my questions!
It is great to hear how you have almost completed your Waka art/water-colour! I am really looking forward to seeing the completed result, and hope you make a new blogpost to show us all once it’s done!
Having family members in Denmark and Australia must be so exciting, and it is awesome to hear how you travel there to go and visit them. I grew up in Australia and adored the sunshine and beaches, and every so often my family would go to the theme parks on the Gold Coast to have a day of fun. Have you ever been to the theme parks in Australia?
If so, which ones did you go to and what rides did you like the most?
Keep blogging Kaya, you’re doing a fantastic job!
      Nga mihi
