My Polyline face for our art for the waka's!

Hello everyone, today I wanted to show you something I worked REALLY hard on, i'ts tracing yourself on a google drawing, I did make mine but then I deleted that and now i'ts even better! Here it is!

This is it! I might carry on editing it but i think it looks a lot like me. We did this as a class and everyone did their own face, We did this for a waka art thing and I am super excited to see how it turns out!

  1. Wow Kaya, this is a pretty impressive art work. I understand why you choose to include it on your blog. I was wondering if you can edit your post to tell your audience how you completed your poly line so they see if they are able to create a work similar to yours. You have even included your earrings as detail. along with your school uniform. It is going to look spectacular on wall. I cant wait to see your end product.

    1. Thank You Mrs Hickford for the advice, also... Chris said that I should make a poly line of one of my cats, I don't think it'll be that hard, but can I?

  3. Kia ora Kaya,
You have done an excellent job creating this polyline drawing for your waka art! I am so impressed with how you managed to outline your face so precisely, and cannot believe how much this image does look like you!
I really like the way you have drawn your eyes wth just a black line outlining just the top of the eyes. This helps your eyes look less small and more open, so ka pai for your ingenuity!
I notice how you started to draw the beginning of your school uniform in this image.
Have you ever thought about doing a polylined image of your entire body rather than just your face?
You mentioned how you previously made one of these images, but re-did to make it better.
What didn’t you like about your first image, and what did you do differently the second time?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
